About us

Aline Peixe Nebot

As a veterinarian, I saw firsthand how animal oral health affects overall health, and I started wondering if it was the same for humans. Turns out, it is! Many systemic diseases begin in the mouth, and more than half of adults have gum disease. I’ve always been a stickler for hygiene, so I started to wonder: why are so many people still dealing with gum inflammation? I realized it’s because our straight toothbrushes don’t reach all those tricky spots.

I used to twist my wrist and bend my hand, trying to clean those hard-to-reach areas at the back of my mouth, but I’d still end up leaving plaque behind. One day, feeling frustrated in front of the mirror, I thought—what if the toothbrush wasn’t straight? What if it had an angle to reach those tough spots? It was a simple idea but a game-changer!

I sketched some designs and experimented with different angles. That small bend made all the difference, allowing the bristles to reach every nook and cranny with ease. When I shared my idea with friends, family, and my dentist, they all loved it. So, I decided to make it a reality.

Now, I'm proud to say our angled toothbrush is helping people achieve cleaner, healthier smiles. Sometimes, it just takes looking at things from a different angle!
